CHURCHES

The first church in Goodyear Heights was at Newton St. and Para Ave. The Presbyterian congregation later relocated to Pioneer Street & Goodyear Boulevard. This sanctuary is now home to Morning Star Baptist Church.

There are many church communities serving the Goodyear Heights neighborhood. Most of them have been established in the area for many years; some are located just outside of the neighborhood but provide a church home for residents who belong to those particular denominations.
